George Nelson Schatzlein
New Haven- George Nelson Schatzlein, 73, of Emily Rd., passed away March 7, 2003 at his residence. He was the husband of Betty Andrew Schatzlein. Prior to his retirement he was employed for the United Illuminating Co. for 42 years. He was a veteran of the US Navy. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Patricia Back of New Haven, a son, James Schatzlein of East Haven, a brother, John Schatzlein of North Haven and two grandchildren. Funeral service and interment will be private. Arrangements are in care of BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Memorial contributions may be sent to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd. Branford, CT 06405.

My deepest sympathy and condolences go to the family of Mr. George Schatzlein. It is a very sad time when we lose someone we love and I just wanted to offer some comfort and encouragement from the Bible. We remember the good times we had with them and how much we love them. When we loose someone we love the Bible gives us a comforting message to help us cope with their death. This message is found at Revelation 21:3, 4 and Isaiah 33:24.
