In New Haven, Dec. 8, 2003, Geraldine Rachel Murphy, 75, of Winthrop Ave., New Haven, mother of Lucille Robinson of West Haven, JoAnn Murphy of New Haven and William Murphy of West Haven. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She had worked in ambulatory care at the West Haven VA Hospital for 25 years before her retirement in 1990. Funeral service Friday, Dec. 12, 2003 at 10 a.m. at St. Paul UAME Church, Chapel & Dwight St., New Haven. Arrangements under the direction of BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden.

  6. So sorry to hear of Geraldine\’s passing. I too worked at the VA for 36 years working in Engineering,Ward Administration, Laboratory and Fiscal Services, and retired in 1995. I came in contact with her many times. She was a lovely lady.
