  4. Ray and family, I was shocked to read of Gloria’s passing. It seems like just a few days ago I received an e-mail from her. We’ve been friends for 62 years, since we started kindergarten together at First Ave. School in West Haven. I know she was looking forward to our 50th high school reunion next July. We’ve been exchanging e-mails regularly, jokes, inspirational messages and news about our families and former classmates. She was such an intelligent, thoughtful person, always ready to express a kind word of praise or encouragement. Ray, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. First Jean Minkler in Jan. and Gloria; I still can’t believe it!

  5. We share your pain and in your loss, in the passing of your wife and mother. Her thoughtfullness, and her sense of humour, have touched us all. Love, Christopher, and Suzanne Horne and Family

  6. We were deeply saddened by Gloria’s passing. We had been in CT on the day she died on a rush trip (pleasure). She was a great, great uplifting friend and dear to our heart. She will be deeply missed by all of you and us as well. God bless you and keep you in His perfect peace.
