At his home, Dec. 30, 2007 Gordon W. Beckwith, 87 of Spring St., West Haven, husband of Rosalind DeAngelo Beckwith, father of Christine T. Millard and her husband, Mark of Las Vegas, NV, Jonathan G. Beckwith and his wife Arleen of Milford and Brian R. Beckwith and his wife Sharon of West Haven, brother of Shirley Wilcox of Wallingford, Neil Beckwith of North Haven, Donald Beckwith and his wife Gertrude of West Haven and grandfather of Zachery and Joshua Millard. He was predeceased by his loving first wife Margaret Rammler Beckwith. Gordon was born Dec. 14, 1920 in West Haven a son of Orville and Mildred Bissell Beckwith. He had worked as an accountant with DiChello Distributors of Orange and was a member of the West Haven Senior Citizens Center on Noble St., West Haven. Funeral service Friday, Jan. 4 at 9 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT - TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave. at Court St., West Haven. Friends may call Thursday from 4 - 8 p.m. Interment in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the First Congregational Church of West Haven, Book of Remembrance, 1 Church St., West Haven, CT 06516 or to the West Haven Senior Center, 201 Noble St., West Haven, CT 06516.
Our deepest condolences to the Beckwith family. Mom (Lois Clarke DeAngelo), had so many fond memories of all her Beckwith cousins. I know she will be welcoming him in heaven. We are so sorry for your loss.
