Grace Gorski Pogonelski

In East Haven, Nov. 14, 2005, Grace Gorski Pogonelski, 87, formerly of Corbin Rd., Hamden, wife of the late Ben Pogonelski, mother of Virginia P. Connelly of Hamden and the late Beatrice Carniani, grandmother of Martin Millea of North Haven, Scott Millea of Hamden, Christopher Millea of Cheshire and William Carniani of Wallingford, great-grandmother of Matthew, Daniel, Michael, Ryan, Dylan, Kevin and Julianne Grace. She was predeceased by 4 sisters and a brother. Grace was born March 9, 1918 in Branford, CT, a daughter of the late Walter and Mary Gorski. She had worked as a clerk for several years at the Sears, Roebuck & Co. formerly of Hamden. She had been an active parishioner of St. Stephen's Church in Hamden she was a member of the Ladies Guild of the Church. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Friday, Nov. 18 at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Stephen's Church, Hamden at 10 a.m. Interment in All Saints Cemetery.
