Grace L. Bavolack
Grace L. Bavolack, wife of the late Alexander W. Bavolack of 231 Centerbrook Rd., Hamden passed away Friday, May 16, 2003 in the Hospital of St. Raphael. She is survived by her daughter, Ann Mansfield and her husband, Louis Mansfield of Hamden. Three sisters, Palma Giordino of Wallingford, Esther Raffone and Pat Capuano both of Hamden and a brother, Joseph Campochairo of FL. She is also survived by a grandson, Shawn Louis Mansfield of Hamden. She was predeceased by sisters, Mary DeRosa, Lee Petriccione, Edith Ferraiuolo,Sylvia Campochairo and a brother, Sal Campochairo. Mrs Bavolack was born in New Haven, July 2, 1931, a daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Mastriano Campochiaro, and was employed at the Fleet Bank in Hamden for 15 years prior to her retirement in 1993. She also worked for the New Haven Credit Bureau and she was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Tuesday morning, May 20 at 9:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Hamden at 10:00 a.m. Burial in Saint Mary Cemetery, Hamden. Only meet Grace a few times, but wanted to send my condolences. My father and brother worked with her husband Al at the Hamden Police Dept. I also am a Hamden Police Officer, but never worked with him. Again, May God Be With Her.
