Grace Louise Wyman

grace wyman
Grace Louise Wyman had her 'home going' on February 26th, 2015. She's rejoicing in Heaven now with her Mom, her Dad, her sisters Sissy and Virgie, her husband Larry, her grandson Todd, and her sweet dog Mitzi. What joy she must be feeling and experiencing. She is finally free. She is singing and playing the piano just as she always said she would be. One day we will all hear her beautiful concerts in Heaven. What a glorious day it will be. She has been following Jesus since she was 16-years-old and she is finally home. Even though she is gone, she is still with all of us. If you listen, you can hear her. In those quite moments you can feel her boundless love. In your times of darkness she will be there to love on you like you've never felt love. When you feel scared she will guide your way. When you miss her more than you can bare, talk to her and she will be there. She may have gone home but she will never ever leave us. Grace was born September 25th, 1925 to Clara and Raymond Frank. She was a sister to Catherine Johnson, Claire DiMartino, Gail Verderame and is predeceased by Virginia Ferraiolo and Elizabeth Rosborg. She was the Mommy to Laura Delaney, Marcia and husband Jeff Hug, Suzanne Wyman, Timothy and wife Lisa Wyman, Sharon and husband Steve Verrilli. She was the loving Grandma to Jennifer Nielsen, Bill Terew, Drew Terew, Todd Terew, Peter Terew, Sarah Greenfield, Dylan McIntosh, Naomi Baldwin, Amanda Hug, Meredith Hug, Autumn Hug, Jesse Wyman, Jason Wyman, Zachary Wyman, Hannah Verrilli and Ryan Verrilli. She was the loving Great Grandmother to Rylee Thompson, Kalle Terew, Claire Terew, Valerie Terew, Hilary Terew, Timothy McIntosh, Lilly Ryan and Leif Nielsen. God gave Grace a soul of angels. She chose love instead of anger. She chose forgiveness instead of resentment. She chose God instead of the world. She chose laughter instead of tears. She chose her family and the Lord above all else. If there is anything we can do to honor her it is to try and live our lives as she lived hers. A prayer service will be held at Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden at 12:00 noon on Sunday, March 1. Friends may visit with her family at the funeral home from 11:00 until the time of service. Burial to be in Kings Highway Cemetery, Milford. 'Till we meet again.'
