Guillermo Serrano, 74, husband of Rosa (Concepcion) Serrano passed away peacfully on Thursday, April 12, 2012 with his family by his side. He was born Feb. 10, 1938 in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico, a son of Catalina (Otero) Serrano of Meriden and the late Pablo Serrano. He worked for the Meriden Housing Authority until his retirement and was a member of the Latin American Society Club of Meriden. In addition to his wife he is survived by his sons Guillermo and his wife Victoria Serrano of Meriden and Jose Antonio Serrano of Meriden, two daughters and their husbands Maria and Thomas Neilson of Hamburg, NY and Emily and Eric Pulaski of Meriden, and many brothers and sisters. He is also leaves, 12 grandchildren, Joseph, Angela and Adrienne Neilson, Peyton and Eric Jr. Pulaski, Timothy Dargan, Jessica Deschaine, Jillissa, Guillermo III, Martiqa and Jeremy and Vincent Serrano and three great-grandchildren, Trenton, Ethan and David. Relatives and friends may call at the Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden on Monday, April 16, 2012 from 5-8pm. A service of celebration will be held at 6:30pm.
