  1. To the family and friends of Harriet Yale. I had the pleasure of knowing Harriet through the City of Meriden Parks and Public Works Department. She came in often to dicuss the trees in front of her home. During the times she visited me; we became quiet friendly. I enjoyed her visits as we talked of the beach and people we knew. I was saddened to come to the realization that she will no longer come to say hi and share her exeriences with me. Harriet was a very lovely woman, smart and sassy. She was a woman ahead of her times and I feel fortuate to have known her. Jane Earnest City of Meriden
