Harrison R. Flesher

harrison flesher
Harrison R. Flesher, 62, of Hamden, passed away at CT Hospice on October 1, 2015 with his family by his side. He was born in New Haven on June 24, 1953 to Viola Green Flesher of New Haven and the late Bertram Flesher. Harris was the beloved husband of Linda Angelotti Flesher; father to Lisa (Matthew) Verneris, Henry (Crystal) Cofrancesco & Michael (Jennifer) Cofrancesco, all of Hamden; devoted grandfather to Zachary & Hannah Verneris and Zoey Cofrancesco; brother of Jay (Diana) Flesher of Miller Place, NY; also survived by his nieces & nephews. He grew up in Orange and has lived in Hamden for the last 25 years. He was very proud of his family's business, Wayside Clothes, which they ran in Milford for over 60 years. Harris was all about his family. Nothing was more important than time spent with them, most memorably at the family's Narragansett, RI home. Harris had a very close and loving relationship with his grandchildren. His family would like to say a special 'Thank You' to the Partnership Adult Day Care Center for their support and companionship and to the staff at CT Hospice for their compassion and care. Friends are invited to visit with his family on Monday, October 5th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden, followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery. Contributions in his memory may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association, 200 Executive Blvd. Suite 4B, Southington, CT 06489 or www.alz.org/ct.
