Hazel Redfield Lindhorn, wife of the late Robert H. Lindhorn passed away July 12, 2005 at Harborside Arden House in Hamden. She was born in New Haven Nov. 9, 1918 a daughter of the late Archie and Bertha Kummer Redfield and joined the US Navy during WW II and served as a Yeoman in the WAVES, stationed in Philidelphia. She was employed at ASGROW and later retired from the Hamden School System. Several years were spent living in West Salem in Southern Illinois where her husband's place of employment was relocated before returning to Hamden. She was a longtime member of Hamden Plains United Methodist Church, the American Legion and the Mt. Carmel Woman's Club. She is survived by a sister Clarice (Betty) Redfield of Cheshire. A Memorial Service and Fellowship will be held at Hamden Plains United Methodist Church, Church St. at Dixwell Ave., Hamden on SATURDAY, JULY 23 AT 11 a.m. Contributions may be made to Hamden Plains United Methodist Church, 15 Church St. Hamden, CT 06514.   1. Hazel and Bob are a large part of my oldest and warmest memories, as they were among my parents closest friends, not to mention that we shared adjacent backyards. Her smile and all it represented will always be in my mind.
