Hamden- Helen Dorothy Meyers, 95, of Nob Hill Circle, Bridgeport, wife of the late Joseph Meyers, passed away Thursday, Sept. 29, 2005. Born in Mount Carmel, PA, August 30, 1910, a daughter of the late Anthony and Anna Koslowski Prealko. In her early twenties, Helen, ventured to New York City where she worked during the depression as an entertainer, singing and dancing. She then moved to Connecticut in the late 60's. After working at St. Joseph's Manor for 20 years as an LPN she retired in 1985. Helen is survived by her daughters, Hope Eisler of West Haven and Joan Conge of Hamden and son-in-law, Bruce Conge. She also leaves her four grandchildren, Kelsey Eisler Aldrich, Jason Conge, Daniel Conge, Brittany Conge, and two great grand sons, Patrick and Conner Aldrich. She was predeceased by seven brothers and four sisters. Funeral service Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2005 at 10 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Friends may call Monday from 4 - 7 p.m. Interment in Milfordside Cemetery, Woodbridge.
