Suddenly in Hamden, Sept. 19, 2000, Helen Murray Hadden of 78 Spring Glen Terr., wife of Superior Court Judge William L. Hadden, Jr. She was born in New Haven,April 1, 1927, a daughter of the late James A. and Helen Hartmann Murray,Jr. She was a graduate of the Day School in New Haven and Mount Holyoke College in Early Childhood Education, she had been a teacher at the School for Young Children at St. Joseph College, West Hartford and a teacher and director at the Nursery School of the Spring Glen Church, before her retirement. Mrs. Hadden was a member of the Mount Holyoke Club of New Haven, New Haven Country Club and the Quinnipiack Club. Beside her husband she is survived by a daughter, Katherine H. Auron and her husband Marshal of Wexford, PA, a son, William L. Hadden, III and his wife Sarah of North Haven and Londonderry, VT, a sister Ann M. Logan and her husband Clark of Amherst, NH. Also survived by five grandchildren, Kimberly and Michael Auron, William L. Hadden IV, Carey and Whitney Ann Hadden. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN, Friday, Sept. 22 at 9:30 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Church of St. Rita at 10 A.M.
