Helga E. Glynn

Helga E. Glynn, age 76, of Woodbridge, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 14, 2016. Born in Munich, Germany on August 18, 1939, she was a daughter of Gerhard Boettger and the late Emilie Kalb Boettger. A longtime resident of Woodbridge, she was the wife of the late Thomas C. Glynn. Helga is survived by her devoted daughter Wendy, her son Tom and his wife Wendy, and her son Sean. She also leaves behind two beloved grandchildren, Tommy and Lizzy, special friend Brian Wright and a host of other relatives and close friends. She was an avid New York Yankee and Ranger fan and enjoyed shopping, cooking, and celebrating the holidays with her family and friends. Her infectious smile and spunky personality left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Friends may visit with her family on Thursday, Jan. 21, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden. During this time at 6:30 PM a Prayer Service will be held.
