Henry Rathgeber

Henry Rathgeber In New Haven, March 1, 2002, Henry Rathgeber, 92, of 602 Central Ave., husband of Grace Beecher Rathgeber. He was born in New Haven, son of the late Henry J. and Marie Antoinette Weiman Rathgeber. He graduated from the Penn State School of Ship - Marine Engineering in 1932 and served in the U.S. Navy for six years. Mr. Rathgeber was the owner of Rathgeber Laboratories until 1955 and retired from the University of Connecticut as a maintenance engineer in 1979. He was a past master of Hiram Lodge # 1, A.F.& A.M. and a member of the Westville United Church. Beside his wife he is survived by a daughter, Jean Rathgeber of Flagstaff, AZ, a grandson Thomas Mullins and great-granddaughter, Stormy Mullins. He was predeceased by a son, Robert Rathgeber. A service of interment will be held at Beaverdale Memorial Park on Monday, March 4 at 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405.
