At CT Hospice, October 31, 2009, Hope E. Carpentieri Perfetto, 95, wife of the late Joseph Perfetto of Davis St., Hamden. Mother and mother-in-law of Agatha and Bernard Elliott of Guilford, Pat and Linda Perfetto of Putnam and Frances Handy of Lake Worth, FL. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Sister of the late Mary G. Carpentieri and Dr. Anthony Carpentieri. Hope, a daughter of the late Constantine and Caroline Siani Carpentieri, was born in Milford, New Hampshire on June 2, 1914. She graduated from St. John's School and Commercial High School and was employed for 12 years in the family business, The New Engalnd Typewriter and Stationary Co., in New Haven. Her life was devoted to her family and circle of life long friends. Friends and relatives may visit at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Saturday, November 7, 2009 from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Stephen's Church, Hamden at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven. Memorial contributions may be made to the Monastery of the Glorious Cross, 61 Burban Dr., Branford, CT 06405 or to St. Stephen's Church, 400 Ridge Rd., Hamden, CT 06517.
