Isabel B. Crescenzi
Isabel B. Crescenzi of East Haven, beloved wife of the late John J. Crescenzi passed away peacefully Sept. 13, 2012 at her home. She was born in New York City, March 21, 1921 a daughter of the late Valentino and Rina Colombini Bernardoni and was an East Haven resident since 1947. Isabel will be remembered for her baking, including birthday cakes and wedding and holiday cookies. Her lifelong love of crocheting resulted in gifts that touched the lives of all who knew her. Mrs. Crescenzi is survived by her daughter, Angela Kiss of Norwich, her son and his wife, David and Leslie Crescenzi of New Haven and their son Joshua, Isabel's cherished grandson. She also leaves a sister, Adele Mirando of Hamden, a brother, Val Bernardoni of Wolcott and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Victor Bernardoni and a sister Olga Bernardoni. Friends may visit with her family at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN on Sunday Sept. 16, from 4-7 p.m. and are invited to attend her funeral service on Monday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405.

We have so many great memories of Isabel. She was always more than generous with her crochet gifts to Chris and his children. We will miss her.
