
In Cheshire, Jan. 29, 2004, Joseph Gordon Hanna of Elim Park Baptist Home, Cook Hill Rd., formerly of Apple Tree Ln., Hamden, husband of Josephine Everhart Hanna. Born in Warriors Mark, PA, May 23, 1921, a son of the late Joseph M. and Alverta M. Simpson Hanna. A graduate of Dickinson College, he was an Analytical Chemist at the Connecticut Agricultural Experimental Station before his retirement in 1984. A veteran of W.W. II, Gordan was a pilot in the Army Air Corp flying B 24's in the European Theater. He was a member of the American Chemical Society. Beside his wife he is survived by a daughter and her husband, Constance ad Stephen Warren of Storrs, CT, a son and his wife, Richard G. and Deborah Hanna of Storrs, CT and two grandchildren, Benjamin Hanna and Hannah Warren. A Memorial service will be held in the Chapel at Elim Park on Friday morning, February 6, 2004 at 11;00 O'Clock Arrangements withBEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN.
