Jack Edward Wakefield

In New Haven, April 11, 2001, Jack Edward Wakefield, 68 of 185 Mill Rd., North Haven, husband of Lynn Sullivan Wakefield. He was born in Framingham, MA, April 9, 1933, a son of the late O. Stanley and Alice Czajkowski Wakefield, he served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from Pratt and Whitney where he was a machinist. Jack was very active in his younger years in New Haven Chapter Order of DeMolay, serving as State Master Councilor. He joined Wooster Lodge # 79, A.F. & A.M. and was Worshipful Master seven times. A Past Patron of Mystic Chapter # 20, O.E.S. he was a Past Grand Patron of The Grand Chapter, Order of Eastern Star in Connecticut. Mr. Wakefield was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in North Haven. Survivors include: daughters, Maryellen Wakefield of Portland, CT, Tracy Lindquist of North Haven, sons, Michael Wakefield of Durham, Jack E. Wakefield, Jr. of Manchester, CT, brother, William W. Wakefield of North Haven, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Richard Wakefield. Eastern Star Service by Mystic Chapter # 20, O.E.S. at 7 P.M., followed by a Masonic Service by Wooster Lodge # 79, A.F. & A.M. The Funeral Service with Rev.
