James B. Anderson, 77, of Hamden, passed away at his home on November 16, 2024. James was the beloved husband of the late Darlene Jeffe Anderson. He was born in New Haven on October 26, 1947 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Rosemary Mikolinski Anderson.

James moved to Hamden in 1978. He had worked for Amtrak Railroad for over 35 years, retiring as a track switch inspector. When not working, he enjoyed being outdoors, especially taking long hikes.

He will be remembered by his son, Scott Anderson, with whom he resided; and his brothers, Robert Anderson of Cromwell, and John Stobierski of Northford. He was predeceased by his sister, Linda Vitali.

Friends are invited to visit with his family on Sunday, November 24th from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. at Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home, followed by a Memorial Service at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
