Jane L. Barton, 81, formerly of 42 Mather St., Hamden died Wed., March 16, 2005 at the Hamden Heath Care Center. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Barton. She was born in New Haven, June 18, 1923 a daughter of the late James Joseph and Olive Morton Lynch. She had worked as a salad maker at the Whitney Center and she was very proud of her Irish Heritage. She is survived by a daughter, Gail Barton Sudol of Hamden, four sons, Bruce Patrick Barton of Forestville, CT, James H. Barton of Chafee Lock, Ontario, Canada, Mark J. Barton of Meriden, Matthew R. Barton of Yalesville, CT, a sister, Olive Manship of FL, five grandchildren, Holly Bonwill of Ontario, Canada, Pamela Garcia of Bristol, Sean Sudol of New Haven, Joseph Barton and Molly Barton both of Yalesville, two great-grandchildren, Brian Patrick Garcia and Miranda Marie Garcia both of Bristol. She was predeceased by a brother, James B. Lynch. Funeral service Sat., March 19 at 10 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Friends may call Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made to the Eastern Paralyzed Veterans Assoc., 7 Mill Brook Rd., Wilton, NH 03086.

One such promise is found at 1 Corinthians 15:26 where we are told that the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing.
