Janet Baldwin Hoffmann
In Milford, April 25, 2006, Janet Baldwin Hoffmann, 89, of Valley View Rd., wife of the late William Hoffmann, mother of Miss Carol Hoffmann of Milford and cousin of Shirley Pompano of NJ and Barbara Hartlin of FL. She was predeceased by a sister, Ann Baldwin. Janet was born in New Haven, Oct. 8, 1916 a daughter of the late Howard and Jessie Norton Baldwin and had been a resident of Milford for 35 years. She retired in 1982 from Cheesebrough Ponds of Clinton where she had worked as a bookkeeper for 12 years. Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of BEECHER & BENNETT TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave., West Haven. Carol, Tom and I were very sorry to learn that your mother passed away. I remember her as a lovely lady who was a lot of fun and I thought a lot of her. I know you were very close to her and I can appreciate how difficult it is for you at this time. My mother passed away two years ago this August, and it was a very trying time to get through.
