Janet R. Blough, 83, of West Haven passed away suddenly at Milford Hospital on Monday, January 24, 2011. Wife of the late Milton F. Blough, Sr., Janet was the loving mother of Kelley L. Dececchi and husband Jamie of West Haven, Gary A. Blough and his wife Sharon of Kingsville, MD and Milton F. Blough, Jr. and his wife Jane of Claremont, CA; loving grandmother of Kelsey Blough of MD, Laura and Thomas Blough of CA, and James and Jenna Dececchi of West Haven and sister of Roy Riley of Wallingford. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Thomas M. Blough, brothers, Kenneth and Bruce Riley and sisters Mickey Lindequist and Phyllis Riley. A daughter of the late Roy and Ethel Carl Riley, Janet was born in Bridgeport on May 21, 1927. She had been employed as a clerk at Sergeant Enterprises. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, January 28, 2011, from 9-11 am at BEECHER & BENNETT-TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave., West Haven. A funeral service will follow at 11 am. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery, West Haven. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Janet's name can be made to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford, CT 06492.

  4. I can’t even express the sorrow I feel right now. My heart goes out to all the family and friends of such a terrific Grrrrreeeeaaaaatttt Aunt! I know she lived a wonderful life surrounded by love from everyone who knew her! I have the best memories growing up, and although passed on, she’s never forgotten. I’m so sorry I couldn’t be there for the memorial, yet, please know I love my family and my deepest condolences go out to each and everyone of my cousins, family members and friends of Aunt Janet’s. She will be missed!!!
