Jeanne Gozda-Fox (Pimental), 76, of Seymour, passed away at home on October 3, 2024. She was born in Meriden on March 22, 1948, daughter of the late Gerald and Teresa Pimental. She was also predeceased by her sister, Terry Hake-Church, and her brother, Anthony Pimental.

Jeanne is survived by her daughters, Deanne O’Leary and her husband Daniel of Ashford, Anita Gozda of Meriden, and Marlene Christopher and her husband Jason of Wallingford, her sister, Pamela Melville of Atlantic City, NJ, her two grandsons, Jeremy Gozda and Travis Christopher, nephew, Tony Hake, as well as other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Jeanne was initially a homemaker, but pursued secondary education later in life. She worked and volunteered for VA over many years; she also was a paraprofessional and a recreational therapist. She had been an assistant Brownie troop leader and was a longtime member of the former Calvary Baptist Church of Meriden.

Special thanks go out to her sister Pamela, who cared for her at the end. Special thanks are also extended to her longtime friend, Cindy Sabota, who provided invaluable support and assistance over the years.

Interment will be private. Plans for services have not been arranged at this time.
