Jeannette Thomas

Jeannette Thomas, 94, longtime resident of West Haven, loving wife of the late Robert Thomas, passed away on May 9, 2019 at Mary Wade Home, New Haven. She was born in Hyde Park, VT on December 14, 1924 to the late Vital and Alice Prive. She is survived by her brother Arthur Prive, son-in-law Louis Bomba, and grandchildren David Thomas (Monica), Roy Martin (Kathleen), Robert Bomba, Natalie Bomba and Gregory Bomba (Tammy). She also leaves behind nieces, nephews and many great-grandchildren; including her newest great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Jeannette Thomas, whose middle name is in Jeannette's honor. She is predeceased by both of her daughters, Linda Bomba and Nancy Thomas, as well as her sisters; Alberta and Rose, and brothers; Leo, Hector, Raymond, Armand and Richard. Jeannette worked for Pratt & Whitney during WWII. She also worked in hospitality throughout her life, including at her own bed & breakfast in Lake George, NY. Friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service at All Saints Cemetery on Friday, May 17 at 11 a.m.
