Jeffrey M. Partyka, age 55, of South Yarmouth, MA, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, in Florida. He was born in NYC, NY on January 21, 1957. Jeffrey was a son of the late Leo K. and Mildred Zasonska Partyka. He is survived by his partner, Charles Cassella; brother, Lee M. Partyka and his wife Robin of North Haven; nieces, Amy L. Partyka and Megen P. Dennis. Jeffrey will also be missed by Charles' extensive family in West Haven. Jeffrey was very active within his family's business, Partyka Chevrolet Inc. of Hamden and loved volunteer work. He spent many hours volunteering for Habitat for Humanity and Animal Welfare. Jeffrey was beloved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed. His Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Hamden, on Friday, May 25th at 10:00 AM. Burial will be private. Friends may visit with Jeffrey's family on Thursday evening at BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. In addition to his Connecticut Services, his family would also like to extend an invitation to attend a Celebration of Jeffrey's life on Sunday, May 27th from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM with a prayer service held at 2:00 PM in the HALLETT FUNERAL HOME, 273 Station Ave., So. Yarmouth, MA 02264. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jeffrey's memory may be sent to the ASPCA, (check made out to the ASPCA) to Linda Tiramani, 520 8th Ave., 7th Floor, New York, NY 10018.

I have worked for the Partyka’s for 16 years,and working with Jeffrey was just a pleasure,always smiling,always helping others(myself included),I wish i could remember what it was about,but there was 1 day in particular that Jeffrey and I did nothing but laugh all day long (hysterically to the point of tears)…this is the memory of him i will always keep with me….He was a kind generous soul full of life,love and laughter….I am truly heartbroken over his passing,but god calls his servants when he needs them….Rest in Peace Jeffrey.. To the Partyka’s and also to Charlie,my heartfelt condolences go out to all of you.

  4. For a number of years, Jeffrey volunteered weekly in our Habitat for Humanity office on Cape Cod. We always looked forward to his regular day with us. He had a big, fun, funny, generous-hearted presence …. Plus he did a ton of valuable volunteer work as part of our fundraising-data team. He was a volunteer we could really rely on.   14. Jeffrey worked in a volunteer position at the Front Desk at IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare)a few years ago and he always showed up smiling and with a wonderful helpful attitude. I am so sorry for your loss. He was a very nice man with a generous spirit.
