Jessica L. Suslew, 28, of Meriden, passed away on July 3, 2017 at her home. She was the loving daughter of Lawrence Suslew and Cathy Esposito Suslew. Jessica was born in New Haven on July 24, 1988 and grew up in West Haven. Along with her fiancé Michael Gibbons, Jessica is survived by her beloved son Michael Gibbons Jr.; sister Starr Suslew; maternal grandparents Richard and Arleen Esposito; paternal grandmother Harriet Suslew; aunts Marie Powers, Janet Kish, Laura Daigle, Angel Trapani, and Samantha Abbruzzese; nephews Christian Shealey and Anthony Holmes. She is also survived by many uncles, cousins, and friends. Jessica was predeceased by her paternal grandfather Robert Suslew. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Jessica’s family on Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. A memorial service will follow at 12:30 PM.
