Joan Claire Enright
Joan C. Thorpe Enright, Loving wife of Thomas H. Enright of Exeter Rd. Hamden passed away October 24, 2003 after a brief illness. She was born in Waterbury, CT June 7, 1926 a daughter of the late Charles R. and Anna McLean Thorpe and resided in Hamden since 1966. Mrs. Enright was employed at the Nationwide Insurance Co. for 19 years prior to her retirement in 1988. Beloved mother of Cheryl A. Enright of Boston, MA., Patricia J. Hamilton of Guilford, CT, and Joan M. Klics of Glouster, MA. Sister of Charles Robert Thorpe of Seattle, WA. Loving grandmother of Carlye and Kristin Hamilton of Guilford, CT., Mary Beth and Thomas Klics of Glouster, MA. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT 2300 Whitney Ave. Hamden Wednesday October 29, at 9:15 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated in St. Joan of Arc Church, 450 West Todd St. Hamden at 10 A.M. Friends may call Tuesday from 5-8PM. Burial in All Saints Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to the North Haven Animal Shelter, 89 Mill Rd. North Haven, CT 06473.
Dear Tom & family, I was sad to hear about Joan from Cheryl, however I was happen to have been keeped in formed of Joan for the passed few months. I will miss her as you all will. Remember Joan was a great lady and will be in many thought for years to come. Tom I will be hear for you if you want to come to any of the Retirees luncheons.
