  15. Some of my favorite memories from my younger days are those that I spent with Joanne. Going out in New Haven, meeting for coffee at Lender’s or drinks at MacAndrews, her trying to teach me and Karen how to play racquetball when all we really wanted to do was stand on the court and gab. Always fun, kind, positive and encouraging, never judgmental or self-centered. Years later, when we reconnected, it was like no time had passed at all. When Debbie or Karen made plans and said .Joanne is coming., they knew it was because I would want to join in all the more. We will always miss you Joanne. Our circle of friends is broken, and will never be the same.
