John F. Peterson, 84, of Woodbridge, CT passed away peacefully at his home on June 5, 2022. He was born in Connellsville, PA on September 13, 1937, the son of the late Eugene and Catherine (Rose) Peterson.
He is survived by his partner, Richard Terwilliger.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Charles and Franklin.
John received his Engineering Degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He worked for the Ford Motor Company before pursuing a career in Interior Design. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
All arrangements will be private the at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s memory can be made to The Humane Society of Connecticut or the ASPCA.
I am so sorry for your loss, but what a wonderful life and adventure you both had for over 50 years. I will always remember John’s kindness, laugh and his Polo baseball hat. He always looked so handsome and stylish. I will think of John often. My best, Christina
