John G. Vendrone
John G. Vendrone, age 48, of West Haven, passed away on September 3, 2015. Born in New Haven on July 24, 1967, he is survived by his parents, Robert & Vivian Turner Vendrone; his sisters, Robin Vendrone and Valerie Mandel & her husband Marc, all of West Haven; uncle Donald Vendrone & his wife Marlene of FL; great aunt Dolly of Erie, PA; cousins, Jason & Donald Vendrone, Donna Mitchell, & Michelle Cooper, and great nieces and nephews of Spring Hill, FL. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Gilbert & Beatrice Turner and John & Doris Vendrone, and his uncle Thomas Vendrone. John was a 1986 graduate of West Haven High School, where he played on their football team. A sports enthusiast, he was an avid Yankee Baseball and Dallas Cowboys Football fan. He was a former Metro Taxi driver, formerly worked for the Woodbridge News Delivery Service, and worked over 18 years for Abate Pizza as their delivery man. John was a person with a big heart that will be missed greatly by his family and many friends. Friends may visit with his family on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at BEECHER & BENNETT - TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave, West Haven. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
