John 'Jack' G. Hague Sr.

John ''Jack'' G. Hague, Sr., 85, husband of Mary Beecher Hague of 23 Willard St., Hamden, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 27, after a brief illness. Father of Jo-Ann Hague Barone, and her husband Anthony of Hamden, John ''Jack'' G. Hague Jr., and his wife Sandra of Cheshire, grandfather of Tracey and Christopher Barone, brother of Elizabeth Kubicza of Hamden, Anna Bender of Orlando, FL and the late Joseph Heg and Mary Breuler. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mr. Hague was employed by the Hamden Bd. of Education in the maintainence dept. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, an Altar Server and a member of the Men's Club. He was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus, Hamden a member of it's golf league and the St. Stephen's Seniors Bowling League. Mr. Hague served in the U. S. Navy during WW II in the South Pacific. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Saturday, morning March 3, at 9:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10. Friends may call Friday from 4-7 PM. Burial with Navy Honors in Centerville Cemetery.
