John 'Jack' Gerschefski

John (Jack) Gerschefski of 27 Lagana Ave. Plantsville died Saturday, July 14, 2001 at Bradley Memorial Hospital, Southington. He was the husband of Phyllis Cornell Gerschefski. He was born in Meriden, Dec. 7, 1922, son of the late John & Arlene Goddard Gerschefski and was a veteran of WW 11, U.S.A.F. Mr. Gerschefski was a tool maker for the Clark Brothers Bolt Company in Milldale for 30 years and prior ro that worked for the Miller Company in Meriden. Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter, Wendy Gerschefski of Plantsville, a son, David John Gerschefski, of Meriden, sisters, Betty Jane Roraback of Middlefield and Barbara Kuchalla and her husband Joseph of Meriden. Also survived by 6 nieces and 1 nephew. Predeceased by his brother-in-law, James Roraback. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT FLATOW Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden, Tuesday morning July 17th at 10:30. Service at St. Andrews Episcopal Church at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Robert J. Broesler, officiating. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
