Jonathan “Jon” C. Crosby, age 73. lifelong resident of Hamden, passed away on July 5, 2021. Born in New Haven on May 4, 1948, he was a son of the late John J. Crosby & Florence (Bradley) Crosby. Jon is survived by his wife Constance (Krebs) Crosby; daughters Stacey Flores & her husband Joe of Washington, Stephanie Lowenski of Oregon, Terry Crosby of Alabama, and Rebecca Lioumis & her husband Jay of Wallingford, CT; son Jonathan Crosby, Jr. & his wife Toby of Idaho; brother Steven Crosby & his wife Pamela of Idaho; and grandchildren Nikki, Caleb, Samuel, Josh, Bella and soon to come baby boy Lioumis. Jon was predeceased by his son Tyler J. Crosby. He was a heavy equipment operator for Union I.U.O.E. #478 for many years. Jon always enjoyed working with his hands, and in his spare time fishing, camping, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
There are no Funeral Services planned at this time. Arrangements are in care of BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Contributions in Jon’s memory may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital at www.stjude.org.

    All I can say is I truly hope you know how much I love you and how much you’ll be missed. You were ALWAYS there for me no matter what and I appreciate all you’ve done over the years. Although I’m glad you are no longer suffering, I’ll always wish my son got to meet his grandfather. Please know too how much Jay respected and loved you as well.
