  5. I was Jon’s religious education teacher in the third grade at St. Rita’s. Class with him was never dull! I grew up with two brothers, though, so I could handle Jon. He was always trying to make the other students laugh and he usually succeeded in making me laugh, too! I am so sorry for your family’s loss. Bonnie Posick (formerly Winchester)

  6. Michael J, Please accept my condolences and extend them to your family. I hope you remember me, you were my summer hire in the Hamden CO. It’s a terrible thing to loose someone so young. 8. Mike, Pat, Mike,& Chris, It shook all of us to the very core of our souls. Our sadness for your loss runs deep through all of us Benson’s. Outside of our tears, we all shared our own Jon stories. I can remember many times, as I stood by my back door, keeping an eye on the kids, or was cooking at the grill and Jon was within eye or ear shot. If it wasn’t his physical gyrations, or the facial expressions that made me bust out laughing, it certainly was the next word out of his mouth! His energy, kindness, and respect he always showed to me, and my boy’s, is what i’ll always remember
