Josephine Blanche DeNigris, 84, wife of the late Edward J. DeNigris passed away Aug. 4, 2012. She was born in New Haven Oct. 1, 1927 a daughter of the late Francis and Antoinette Capecelatro Gabriel and had resided in Orange for 35 years before moving to Hamden in 2001. Mrs. DeNigris was a first grade school teacher in the West Haven School system for 35 years prior to her retirement in 1992. During that time she was named Teacher of the Year. She was a graduate of Wagner College and was a parishioner of Holy Infant Church and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. She is survived by her daughter Atty. Laurie G. DeNigris and her husband Joseph A. Zeoli of Wallingford, and two grand daughters Allison Gabrielle Zeoli and Natalia Anne Zeoli. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT 2300 WHITNEY AVE HAMDEN Thursday morning Aug. 9 at 9:30am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10 am. Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8 pm. Entombment in St. Lawrence Garden Mausoleum.
