Barba, Josephine Mary DeStefano In CT. Hospice, Oct. 6, 2007 Josephine M. Barba, age 88, of 44 Elm St. East Haven, formerly of Hamden. Wife of over 60 years to George J. Barba, Sr. and mother of George J. Barba, Jr. of East Haven. She is survived by numerous Nieces & Nephews. Josephine was born in New Haven on June 30, 1919, a daughter of the late Joseph & Christina Collegari DeStefano. She was predeceased by her sister Rose Mary Pasqualoni & brothers Anthony, Michael & Frank DeStefano. Retiring in 1982, she was the Head Cook for 20 years at the East Haven High School. Josephine was a loving wife & mother and will be greatly missed by her family & friends. Funeral from BEECHER and BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave. Hamden Wednesday at 11:30 AM. Mass will be at 12 Noon in St. Ann's Church, followed by burial in St. Agnes Cemetery in Branford. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 10 to 11:30 AM.
