Josephine R. Krysko, 98, of Evergreen Ave., Hamden, wife of the late John M. Krysko, passed away March 29, 2010. She was born in Messina, Sicily, Italy a daughter of the late Paul and Antonina Cannata Giangarra and was a Hamden resident since 1936. She was employed as a seamstress for many years prior to her retirement. Mrs. Krysko was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, and a member of the Marion Ladies Guild. She is survived by 2 sons, a sister Lucy Sabellico of New Haven, and a brother Benedict Giangarra of Orange. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by a sister Mary Carral and a brother Leo Giangarra. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN Wednesday morning, March 31 at 11:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 12 noon. Friends may call Tuesday from 5 -8 p.m. and Wednesday morning from 10:30 to 11:30. Interment in St. Mary Cemetery. Contributions in her memory may be sent to the Alzheimers Assoc., 2911 Dixwell Ave., Hamden, CT 06518.
