Hartford- Juan Ronnie Johnson, 54, died on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Ct. Hospice in Branford. He was born June 22, 1955 in Ft.Bennett, Georgia a son of Clarence J. and Ertha (Crawford) Johnson. He is a graduate of the printing/graphics department at Wilcox Technical High School and worked for Rex Forge in Southington. He is survived by two sons, Damien Freberg of Bristol and Tyler Freberg of Georgia, three brothers, Clarence Johnson of Hamden and Michael Johnson and Harold Crawford both of Meriden and a sister, Floresia Allen of Meriden, four grandchildren, Kayla Freberg, Cheyenne Freberg, Damian Lea Freberg Jr. and Frederick A. Harris Jr., several nieces and nephews as well as many friends and family that loved him. A memorial service celebrating Juan's life will be held on Monday, March 22, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the Parker A.M.E.Zion Church, 1280 North Broad St., Meriden, the Rev. Alsey P. Williams will officiate. A gathering in the church hall will follow the service. The Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden is in charge of the arrangements.
