Juanita Ramos Greenwood
Meriden- Juanita Ramos Greenwood, 73, of 525 Crown St., died on Wednesday April 26, 2006 at MidState Medcial Center after a brief illness, with her daughter Debra at her side. Ms. Greenwood daughter of the late Julio and Marcelina (Martinez) Ramos, was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico on September 29, 1932. She is survived by three children; Debra G. Iwerks and her husband Paul of Meriden, John H. Greenwood of Huntington Beach, CA and Cheryl J. Greenwood of Meriden; two grandchildren Christine and Gregory Iwerks. She also leaves behind a good friend and companion, James H. Allen Sr. of Meriden. All but one of seven brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews survive Ms. Greenwood. There will be no calling hours. A Memorial service for family and friends will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2006 at 11:00am at Family Christian Worship Center, 53 Coe Ave., Meriden. All are invited. Ms. Greenwood's family respectfully requests that expressions of sympathy be made in the form of contributions to Family Christian Worship Center, 53 Coe Ave., Meriden, Ct 06451. Arrangements are under the direction of Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden.
