Judith C. Perrotti, age 82, of Woodbridge passed away on October 30, 2023 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Born in New Haven on June 30, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Gudren (Andresen) Carbonella. Judith was the widow of Ralph Perrotti, Jr. She is survived by her son Ralph Perrotti, III, with whom she resided, and Ralph’s companion Anna Maria Scapellato; her sister Paula Carbonella of North Haven, niece Leslie Czerwinski and her husband Kris Baughman, and nephew Louis Czerwinski and his wife Daniela. Judith was a graduate of Hamden High School, and received degrees from Green Mountain College in VT and Lesley University in Cambridge, MA, subsequently receiving her Master’s Degree from Southern Connecticut State College. She was a former schoolteacher for the Town of Ansonia Board of Education. A resident of Woodbridge for 55 years, she enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking for her family and friends, and caring for the cats and dogs she owned over the years. She liked to travel with her family on vacations to Florida, Myrtle Beach and other shore areas, and also enjoyed visiting New York City during the Christmas season when possible.
Friends may visit with her family at Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden on Sunday, November 5th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., and may attend her funeral from the funeral home on Monday at 10:00 a.m. followed by her Mass of Christian Burial, to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. in the Church of the Assumption, 81 Center Road, Woodbridge. Burial will take place in Eastside Cemetery. Contributions in her memory may be made to Smilow Cancer Hospital, c/o Yale-New Haven Hospital Office of Development, P.O. I’m sorry for your loss, Ralph! I am only just finding out about it so I apologize for not being able to make it to the funeral mass but my thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time!

It was very nice knowing you Mrs. Perrotti and one of your cats and your son too. You were an amazing mother to your son and raised a very great son. You had such a wonderful extended family. It was a pleasure to know such a wonderful, kind, caring, and loving woman and her son. May you rest in peace now.
It was wonderful to share so many Thanksgiving celebrations with you, Judy and the rest of the New England family. We will always remember the games, the meals, the walks, the places we stayed together, and the joy you brought! God rest your soul.
