Julie Tagliatela

Julie Tagliatela, 93, of Cheshire, passed away on August 20, 2014 at Elim Park. Born in Bridgeport on May 14, 1921 to the late Antonio and Antonette Caruso Malvasi. She grew up in Bridgeport before moving to Hamden, where she was a longtime resident before moving to Elim Park 16 years ago. Julie was predeceased last year by her husband of 50 years, Paul J. Tagliatela. She leaves her brothers, Michael Malvasi of Monroe and Joseph Malvasi of Stratford and many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to visit with Julie's family at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden on Friday, August 22nd from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
