Juliette C. LaRose, age 87, of Wallingford, CT passed away on January 19, 2013. Born in Timmins Ontario, Canada on March 31, 1925 she was a daughter of the late Lionel Phillipe & Elaine Dion Cloutier. Juliette was the widow of Lucien 'Red' LaRose; mother of Christine L. Winter & her husband David of Newport, NY, Elaine L. Aszklar & her husband Richard of Wallingford, CT, Paul P. LaRose & his longtime companion Roberta Tiberski of Meriden, CT & the late Donald R. LaRose; grandmother of Jennifer Marshall, Kathryn Kubeck, James Kubeck & Zachary Aszklar; great grandmother of Gavyn, Jackson & Mason; sister of Lucille Vitello & Roger Cloutier both of Niagara Falls, NY, Claude & Andrew Cloutier both of Ontario, Canada and the late Leo & Ronald Cloutier and special cousin to Lucille Dalpe of Stamford, NY. Juliette also leaves a host of nieces & nephews. Juliette owned & operated the former Juliette's Beauty Salon in Wallingford for many years. She was Past President for 12 years of the AMVETS Ladies Post #9, Past President of the Emblem Club and a 40 years member & Past President of the Columbiettes Pinta Council #5. Juliette was a very active women, she would never missed any of her many club meetings or functions along with her husband Red. She enjoyed spending time with her family here and frequently in Canada. Julie also loved to knit whenever she could, this past Christmas making many presents herself for family and friends.. Her funeral will be held from BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden on Tuesday Jan. 22nd at 9:15 AM, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in the Most Holy Trinity Church. Friends may also visit with her family on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will take place in St. John's Cemetery, Wallingford. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Most Holy Trinity Church, 84 North Colony St, Wallingford, CT 06492.
