Karen Neilson Kennedy

Karen Neilson Kennedy, 93, of Bayonet Point, Fl, wife of the late Wilfred P. Kennedy, passed away July 23, 2001 at her home after a brief illness. She was born in West Haven and lived there until moving to North Branford in 1976. She later moved to Bayonet Point, FL in 1981. Mrs. Kennedy is survived by a son; Peter W. Kennedy of Bayonet Point, FL, a sister Helene N. Harris of Hudson, FL, six nephews; George Scranton of West Haven, Richard Neilson of Milford, Peter Neilson of Cape Elizabeth, ME, Albert C. Elliott of Bayonet Point, FL, Albert Elliott, Jr. of Brooksville, FL and Michael Elliott of New Port Richey, FL, four nieces; Karen Elliott Charters of Bayonet Point, FL, Suzanne Neilson Wilson of Branford, Olive Scranton of Cornwall, CT and Dory Neilson of Milford. Also survived by 57 great and great great grand nieces and nephews in FL, CT, ME and IL. Burial service will be Saturday morning July 28, at 11 o'clock in Christ Episcopal Church, Church St. West Haven. Family and friends may call Saturday morning from 9 to 10:30 am at BEECHER & BENNETT TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave, at Court St., West Haven. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
