Plantsville-Katherine Ann Kannenberg, 28, of 52 Saw Mill Ln., died Monday, Oct. 23, 2000 at MidState Medical Center in Meriden. She was born in Worcester, MA on May 15, 1972, a daughter of Donald A. and Carol A. Priebe Kannenberg, Sr. of Plantsville.She had worked for the Meriden - Wallingford Society for the Handicapped and was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Southington. Besides her parents, she is survived by two sisters and their husbands, Pamela and Thomas Pappas of South Meriden and Karen and David Biestek of Middletown, RI; three brothers and their wives, Donald A. and Abby Kannenberg, Jr. of Avon, CT, Richard and Michelle Kannenberg of South Meriden and Thomas and Reisa Kannenberg in the military, currently stationed in Germany; nine nieces and nephews, Ross Kannenberg and Lauren Kannenberg, both of Avon, Jonathan Pappas and Kaitlin Pappas, both of South Meriden, Christopher Biestek and Michael Biestek, both of Middletown, R.I., Benjamin Kannenberg of South Meriden and Samantha Kannenberg and Sydney Kannenberg, both of Germany; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 145 Main St., Southington. The Rev. Ophelia Laughlin will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Meriden. Relatives and friends may call Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Beecher and Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. If desired, contributions in Katherine's memory may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 145 Main St., Southington, CT 06489 or to a charity of one's choice.
