Katherine Beck Hubbell

In Wallingford, Dec. 9, 2000, Katherine Beck Hubbell, 95 of the Masonic Geriatric Healthcare Center. Wife of the late George Ira Hubbell. She was born July 15, 1905, in New Haven,a daughter of the late Charles H. and Elizabeth Schmidt Beck. Formerly of Woodbridge and Ansonia, Mrs. Hubbell was a 60 year member of the Woodbridge Grange and had been a member of the First Church of Christ of Woodbridge Ladies Aid Society, the Woodbridge Senior Citizen, Christ Episcopal Church of Bethany and the Ansonia Episcopal Church. She is survived by daughters: Joyce Hotchkiss of Thomaston, CT, Nancy Matthies and FannyLou Forsberg, both of Orange, a son, Dr. Ira Hubbell, M.D. of Columbia, MO, a brother Herbert Beck of Hamden, 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Johnson McKenna and a brother, Theodore Beck. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the Masonic Geriatic Healthcare Center, Wallingford on Friday, Dec. 15, at 11 A.M. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
