Meriden- Katherine M. Hesseltine, 62, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital. She was born June 29, 1953 in Meriden a daughter of the late Robert and Georgia (Birdsey) Dennis. Kathy loved horses, winning many ribbons when she was young. She was a devoted mother, whether it was attending her children's many sports games, or with words of encouragment. Kathy is survived by her two sons, Charlie Hesseltine III and Eric Hesseltine, both of Meriden, a brother, Robert (Judee) Dennis of Durham, a sister, Bonnie (Greg) Hugo of Meriden, a granddaughter, Miabelle, her niece, Michelle Eisenburg, nephew, Robert Dennis, as well as several great-nieces and nephews and her former husband Charles 'Chuck' Hesseltine. Relatives and friends may call at the Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 4-8pm. Burial will be private.

  2. To the Hesseltine family, The Zezeck family mourns the loss of such a special lady. Kathy was a loving, caring, hard working woman and while she was a member of our family for a short while, we appreciated the kindnesses that she showed our parents and the family. We know she will be sorely missed by many and we offer condolences to those whom she dearly loved. The Zezeck family, Mark, Craig, Marcia and Connie.

  3. I worked with Kathy at the Medicare office for many years. She was a very sweet and kind person. My condolences to Kathy’s family and friends.
