Kathleen A. Lyman, 86, of Meriden passed away September 16, 2022. She was born in North Bellmore, NY October 18, 1935, a daughter of the late Henry and Alice Kluba Gress, and resided in Meriden for most of her life. Kathleen married Earle Lyman on August 13, 1960 and they had 30 wonderful years together before his passing in 1990; he was the love of her life. She had been employed at Cooper Instruments Co. for 15 years before her retirement in 2000.
Devoted mother of Karen Lyman of Meriden, Carol Miles and her husband David Miles of Simpsonville, SC, and Sharon Lyman of Southington.
Katie had a great eye for detail and enjoyed coloring (always staying inside the lines), letterboxes, fill-ins, knitting, and puzzles, and she loved her four-legged grandbabies Charlie and Sorrento.
Friends may visit with her family on Wednesday, Sept. 21st from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and are invited to attend a Prayer service at 11:30 a.m. in Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. Interment in Walnut Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kathleen’s memory may be made to the Meriden Humane Society, 311 Murdock Ave., Meriden, CT 06450.
