Kathleen H. Sullivan, 76, of Hamden, wife of 41 years to Brian P. Sullivan, passed away on August 12, 2024 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was born in New Haven on April 19, 1948, a daughter of the late William and Dorothy Calamita Hallisey. She was predeceased by her beloved sister, Patricia H. Riccitelli. She will lovingly be remembered by her nieces, Amy Laydon and Mindi (Thomas) Wydra; and her great-nieces and nephew, Sydney, Benjamin, Abigail and Chloe. Kathleen will also be missed by her loyal dog, Ozzie.

Kathleen graduated from St. Mary’s High School. She went on to work at Yale University’s Athletic Department, St. Francis Home for Children, and Southern Connecticut State University’s Institutional Research Department, from where she retired in 2014. She was a member of the Knights of St. Patrick, and also was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Hamden.

Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, August 20th at 11:00 a.m. in St. Paul VI Parish-Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 2819 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Burial will be private. Special thanks to the entire staff of Hamden Health & Rehabilitation for their loving care of Kathleen. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Clelian Center at Sacred Heart Academy in Hamden. BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden is in care of arrangements.
