Kathleen L. Shellard, 86, of Hamden, passed away on Jan. 17, 2022. Born in New Haven, she was a daughter of the late Vernon & Viola Engel. She is survived by her daughters, Stacy & Susan Shellard; son Scott (Mary) Shellard; 5 grandchildren; 2 great- grandchildren; and her special best friend Fran Meinsen. She was predeceased by her son Stephen Shellard; sisters Maret Doorfee & Verna Shay; and her longtime companion Ted Turek.
Her funeral was held privately with her family. Donations in her memory may be made to the Diaper Bank of CT, 370 State St., North Haven, CT 06473.
